DR MYN LEE

Skin Cancer Doctor

Myn is a General Practitioner with an interest in all things related to skin. She obtained her primary medical degree from the University of Melbourne, and holds a Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff, UK; and has several other Certificates in Skin Cancer and Dermoscopy. 

 

Myn strongly believes in constantly updating her knowledge and skills, and has recently been awarded the Advanced Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery from the Skin Cancer College Australasia. 

 

Before transitioning into full time skin cancer work, Myn spent several years working as a General Practitioner in rural Victoria as well as in Singapore.


She is able to provide advice and treatment of skin cancers, including non-surgical treatment, simple excisions, as well as flaps and grafts. She is also happy to discuss all other dermatological concerns.

DR SALLY SHAW

Owner / Skin Cancer Doctor

Sally is one of the founding members of the Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine. Sally has been instrumental in establishing standards for skin cancer practitioners throughout Australia. She has successfully established several skin cancer clinics in Mornington, Frankston and Rosebud.

She holds a Diploma in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery, a Diploma in Dermoscopy and more recently, has become a Fellow of the Skin Cancer College Australasia (SCCA).

Sally has more than 20 years’ experience as a GP and more than 15 years’ experience in all types of skin cancer surgery including flap surgery, grafts and non surgical skin cancer treatments such as Efudix, Aldara, and PDT.

KYLIE LAWSON

Endorsed Enrolled Nurse / Melanographer

Kylie is one of our most experienced nurses, having worked in the field of skin cancer medicine for 10 years now. She has completed the Certificate in Dermoscopy and is a trained melanographer.

Kylie has worked and trained under Dr Sally Shaw when her clinics were first established. She is highly capable of assisting with skin checks and is familiar with all types of post surgical wound management.

Despite having 2 teenage boys that keep her extremely busy, Kylie is working towards her goal of running a half marathon.

DR PETER CHENG

Skin Cancer Doctor

Peter has been working in the field of skin cancer medicine for 3 years. He is a fully qualified General Practitioner and has completed the Advanced Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery.

Prior to completion of his medical degree, Peter has worked as a pharmacist. He has a keen interest in surgery and has worked in multiple subspecialty units across the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Monash Health.

Peter's excellent surgical skills and empathetic, patient-centred approach make him a much valued member of the team. He currently consults Mondays and Thursdays and spends his other days in General Practice.

Outside of medical work Peter is a watch aficionado and will readily tell you where to find the best food in Melbourne.

SARAH GIBBONS

Endorsed Enrolled Nurse / Melanographer

Sarah is an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with extensive experience in Skin Cancer. She has worked in Aged Care and General Practice but has found her calling in the field of Skin Cancer Medicine. For the last 7 years she has worked in well-established skin cancer clinics, and brings with her a wealth of knowledge. She has completed Certificates in Dermoscopy and Skin Cancer Medicine, and is also a trained melanographer.

Sarah believes in a holistic approach to patient care, and is passionate about early detection and management of skin cancers.

She loves walks with her dog Milly, and spending time with friends and family.

SIMONE MAGU

Office Manager

Simone is our office manager who ensures everything runs smoothly at the clinic. She has 15 years’ experience working in medical administration, in both GP and radiology clinics. For the last 6 years she has been working exclusively in skin cancer clinics. 


Sim is the first point of contact for all enquiries. She is always available to answer patients’ questions or concerns, and will make sure you receive the best care possible at the clinic.

Sim loves her job, but also enjoys escaping the clinic in her campervan to go camping and discovering new places.
